Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Kafé iOS application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by Kafé ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

Kafé grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive source code from the app
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

2. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Kafé. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Coffee identification results are provided for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kafé shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

5. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. Kafé has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the effective date of the revised Terms at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
